ABOUT

I have practiced psychiatry for over 30 years, first in Boston and, since 1991, in northeast Ohio. I have experience treating a full spectrum of conditions in patients of all ages. Before beginning this private practice, I was the medical director of intensive services at Akron Children’s Hospital for 10 years. I am committed to, and enjoy collaborating with other caregivers and working as a part of a therapeutic team.

I am board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I have been frequently listed as one of “Best Doctors in Cleveland”.
I communicate well with patients and their families, explaining and analyzing diagnostic issues as well as assessing and addressing issues of family and social context. I work with patients and their families to identify and implement appropriate treatment choices.

I have a firm grounding in developmental theory, and provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan, using medication, psychotherapy and a variety of treatment modalities.
